Tim serves iSectors® clients as Manager of iSectors Strategies®. In addition to performing ongoing research and trading functions for iSectors, he is also involved in management of other strategic and operational initiatives for iSectors®.

Tim brings 20 years of broad professional experience in the financial services industry to the team. Investment management, institutional consulting, trading and marketing are several of the areas where he has gathered knowledge and expertise working with both institutional and individual investors over the course of his career. Prior to joining Sumnicht & Associates, Tim applied his research, trading discipline and management techniques to individual portfolios for nearly a decade. Tim previously was employed as a Portfolio Research Analyst for Northern Capital Management in Madison, WI. From 1990-1994, Tim served in multiple capacities of increasing responsibility at William O’Neil + Co., Los Angeles, CA. Those roles included fundamental research, institutional marketing and National Sales Manager, New USA Mutual Fund. Tim began his career in the securities business in college by obtaining his Series 7 while interning at a Chicago-based NYSE member brokerage firm.

Tim holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma National Business Honor Society.

In addition to his professional achievements, Tim is an accomplished conservationist, specializing in forestry, invasive species and native habitat restoration. He’s traveled extensively, both internationally and domestically. Tim has also competed and finished the Ironman Wisconsin Triathlon. He resides in Oshkosh with his wife and son.
